How to sell dogs online

"Les Feeries du Valdonne", located in Marne (France), is a dog breeder paying a huge attention to the quality of life of its dogs.

As People are nowadays seeking their puppies mainly online, this breeder was struggling selling her dogs via internet. After having spent regularly thousands euros in Google Advertising, she asked OOPO to set up an Online Strategy that will help her sell more online by spending less.
We started with a new website, clearer and faster. We also designed a new brand, more colourful and modern. For more visibility, we created content such as infographics and advice. Part of the SEO strategy was also the creation of 2 other mini-sites high Google ranked in the searches regarding the two breeds being sold. The aim was to create 2 audiences and drive traffic to the main site that sells dogs.

But the best way to drive traffic in this domain is to be present on social media. We then advised our customer in using Facebook by giving some tips and creating the first contents to be shared.

Nowadays, all the dogs are sold sometime even before being born and this breeder can choose her customers. She also often redirects customers to other breeders, competitors of hers. The breed has today the biggest Facebook audience among “Cavaliers King Charles” and “Coton de Tulear” breeders in France. Not only the audience is big but it is also very active. We must underline that our strategy helped underline the seriousness of the breeder. We worked together and our customer followed perfectly our advice and is also an amazing breeder. The best strategy could not work that well with someone who is not serious in her/his business.
